1 Dead & Six Injured In US Shopping Centre Shooting After Robbery Goes Awry

 
There is currently an active shooter at the Rolling Oaks Mall in San Antonio, Texas
The office of San Antonio mayor Ivy Taylor is currently telling media that one person has been killed, and six have been injured. 

Reports say two suspects attempted to rob a Kay’s jewellery store at around 3:30pm local time, when a civilian attempted to stop them. One of the suspects then shot and killed the civilian who intervened. 

Another person, who had a concealed handgun license, then shot one of the suspects, who has been transported to hospital. 
San Antonio Police Department reports that the second suspect then ran through the mall, shooting at people. Six people are confirmed to be injured. 

The suspect is still on the loose. 
Reports are surfacing there is  a second shooting now progressing in San Antonio, but it’s not confirmed if it is related to the Rolling Oaks Mall shooting. 

UPDATE, 11:05am, 23/1/17:
The Mayor’s office has now revised the numbers of injured persons – 1 person is deceased, and five are injured. 
3 are wounded by gunshots, and 2 have non-shooting related injuries.
