After sorting through over 10,500 submissions, it’s with great pleasure that we’re now able to hand over to you the honour of VOTING in The 2013 Pedestrian.TV Photography Awards presented by Lumix GX7. You won’t, however, be making that call entirely alone.
We couldn’t be more stoked to announce that this year’s expert judging panel of professionally impressive humans will be lead by a man who knows a thing or two about a powerful image and the importance of the story behind it: the controversial American auteur of Gummo, Mister Lonely and Kids notoriety and the director of this year’s most divisive movie (depending your stance on the masterful performance of James Franco and neon bikini-clad Disney alumni wielding semi-automatics) Spring Breakers, the incomparable Harmony Korine.
To make things easier for Harmony and yourself, we’ve hand picked the best of your best across the fields of MUSIC, FASHION, SOCIAL, MOBILE, TRAVEL, SPORT and ART, and now need your help in deciding the ultimate big cheese, the 2013 Pedestrian.TV Photo of the Year.
Each category winner will be awarded with a Lumix GX7 of their own, with the overall winner embarking on their own life-changing spring break, spring break forever, across Thailand thanks to our mates at Contiki.
Voting for the shortlisted finalists closes on WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 4TH. Winners will be announced at an awards event at Keystone’s Newtown Hotel in Sydney on Thursday 12th December, 2013.
So, if you’ve got a mate you want to vote off the island, or just want to see some damn fine photos, VOTE NOW.
