In a puzzling move the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have covered and released a cover of Coldplay’s “The Scientist” and are offering it as a free download on their website.
Nah, just joking. They have however, put out a rather experimental video titled “The Scientist” which features Nick Zinner cracking a whip and lots of bones, ants, and dolls. It’s pretty much a 51 second Spaghetti Western/Film Noir crossover. Creepy in a good way.
