Wolfmother Front Man Arrested For Unwanted Singing

If you’ve ever wished the lead singer of Wolfmother would shut the fuck up this one goes out to you.

Andrew Stockdale was fined $350 by a Brisbane magistrates court after a drunken attempt to sing at Archive Bar in Brisbane’s West End on Sunday night.

One youtube user Captain Bloodshot witnessed the event and thankfully recorded it. The captain describes the event as follows:

After sinking a few delicious brews in a fine brisbane establishment, Andrew Stockdale takes the mic away from a cover artist and gives the unsuspecting crowd an impromptu performance of The Beatles Classic “Let it be”, straight from the heart. Later he was removed from the stage and subsequently kicked out. What a night.

The Brisbane Times reports security staff asked Stockdale to leave the premises but he refused and when attempted to remove him, but he sat down in the middle of a busy thoroughfare inside the club and “passively resisted” security.

Police were eventually called and they arrested the singer who was charged with being drunk and disorderly, failing to leave licensed premises and resisting removal of licensed premises.
