Win VIP Tickets To 2014 Laneway Festival In Your City

From humble beginnings as the human spill-over of a beloved Melbourne watering hole to its now continent-spanning presence across the Tasman to Singapore and beyond, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival is coming home this January and thanks to the generous folks at Rdio you and a friend could be lapping up live performances by some of 2013’s most exciting emerging acts – and doing it all VIP-style.

We’re giving away 1 x VIP double pass to Laneway in each city (Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth) plus a 12 month Rdio subscription for each of the 6 winners. To win, email us with your best MS Paint rendering of what you will be doing if you win the tickets, along with your full name, contact details and the leg of Laneway you want to attend. To get an idea of what we’re looking for, browse these examples from a previous comp. They’re simultaneously glorious, terrible and rich in vision. We can’t wait to see what kind of unique artistry you come up with. If in doubt, refer to Terms & Conditions.

The fantastic 2014 Laneway lineup includes Chvrches, Haim and Mount Kimbie, plus the year’s most accomplished teen lord Lorde who impressed with a great performance of her single “Team” at the ARIA Awards on Sunday. All live performances from ARIAs night are available to stream via right now.

As stated in the T&Cs, the winners were based on ‘originality and creativity’ (with that said, kudos to the dude who drew a smiling stick figure with a raging semi-hard-on. Did laugh) so without further ado:

Mitchell Talbot (ADELAIDE)

Jessica Suo (AUCKLAND)

Tyler Berry (BRISBANE)

Alex Foppoli (FREMANTLE)

Sharni Brear (MELBOURNE)

Melissa Fulham (SYDNEY)
