What Are The Best Albums of 2011?

It is that time of the year when all that has occurred over the past 365 days (give or take a few) can be reduced to a column of ranked items for everyone to get contentious about. Quantifying the year’s musical output has already begun, with Best Album/Song lists being published daily. Like today, SPIN Magazine has unveiled its 50 Best Albums of 2011 (which, incidentally, was topped by Fucked Up’s David Comes to Life) and yesterday triple j unveiled their listener’s poll of the top 10 albums of 2011 who voted in Gotye‘s Making Mirrors at the #1 spot.

The Pedestrian staff been collating our favourite albums and songs of the year (which will be published in the next fortnight), but we are also really interested in hearing what you guys think are the best of the best – because your choices count.
