As if the universe was communicating with us through song, we got the news that lo-fi bro Nathan Williams and his musical lovechild Wavves is doing a haul of sideshows around Australia just as we had “Post Acid” playing on the Pedestrian radio. Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are getting a visit from Wavves in addition to his locked in Golden Plains appearance – great news for people who like their hook-laden lo-fi punk delivered San Diego-style. Nathan will be bringing bassist Stephen Pope and drummer Billy Hayes, former band mates of departed legend Jay Reatard and a pair of damn fine performers.
To top things off they’ll be supported by awesome Gold Coast bros from Bleeding Knees Club.
