Who feels like easing into the weekend by being broody and dark and sexy but also a little bit dangerous, but never dangerous enough that it doesn’t feel safe? Yeah. Yeah you do. Danger-sexy. Dark and horny. Like a goth with a dildo. Ooooh babey.

It is with the utmost neutrality that I now inform you all that we’re living in a post-Zayn & Taylor Swift Fifty Shades‘ music video world, with the duo dropping the film clip for their collaborative effort ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever‘ a short little while ago.

The song – and clip – are on the soundtrack of the upcoming ‘Fifty Shades Darker‘ (the second film in the series of half-arsed adaptations of the Wikipedia BDSM page) which is due to hit cinemas on February 10th.

The clip, directed by Grant Singer (whose previous work you might recognise from The Weeknd‘s clips for ‘Starboyand ‘I Can’t Feel My Face,’ or from the Phantogram clip for ‘You Don’t Get Me High Anymore,’ or even Ariana Grande‘s ‘Let Me Love You‘) has Zayn and Swifty swanning about a typically dimly-lit pseudo-gothic mansion, in keeping with the dark and ominous colour palate that the ‘Fifty Shades‘ cinematographers wantonly slap all over the screen like a toddler let loose in the finger paints.

You’ve all seen it now. It’s part of you. Like it’s part of me. We are one.
