It’s fair to say that the prevailing emotion was one of “JESUSSHITFUCKINGCHRIST” when gazing upon the majesty that was the Splendour in the Grass 2016 lineup announcement.
It had a little something for everyone in it. And just about everyone made their feelings on it abundantly known.
Triple J‘s much loved, much beleaguered textline got an absolute bashing today, as listeners flooded it with on-the-go reactions to the reveal.
So much so, that Veronica & Lewis took it upon themselves to share a few of the choicer cuts from the avalanche of messages.
‘Course a couple of radio presenters just reading out text messages is a little dang, so instead they got ABC News 24 presenter Kumi Taguchi to add a little professional journalistic sheen to it.
The verdict? Y’all have issues keeping your excitement in check.
Hilarious issues, sure. But issues nonetheless.
