The irony is that LCD’s final shows in New York City last year are the Tumblr generation’s most significant “I was there” moment yet. And soon, thanks to directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, you can pretend you were there too. This year’s Sundance Film Festival will feature Shut Up and Play the Hits a feature length doco detailing Murphy’s final days in the lead up to LCD’s final shows at Madison Square Garden.
