A random bro* once said, “The simplest acts of kindness are far more powerful than a thousand heads bowed in prayer”. It’s these kinds of simple, less pious, though nonetheless benevolent acts of kindness that The Kite String Tangle and his helpers performed of their own volition at this year’s Splendour In The Grass, resulting in the above video, ‘Random Acts of Kiteness’.
Turns out charity can be nothing more than a free lollipop or a pillow for a punter who has found himself in a very chill situation.
TKST (or Danny Harley) has also today embarked on another, less random act of kindness in the form of a month-long national tour spreading the kind of joy that only his debut EP Vessel can bring. Harley’s live shows have already sold out in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane & Melbourne, and additional dates have been added in Bendigo, Brisbane & Toowoomba.
