Watch The Australian Answer To Later With Jools Holland

Coming soon to a web browser near you is the Melbourne-centric version of Later With Jools Holland.

ABABCd, launched today on the Poncho.tv Youtube channel, is an independent online music show which derives its name from the verse/chorus/verse/bridge/chorus song structure favoured by pop musicians.

Each week, shaggy haired ringmaster Nick Clarke invites three bands to play one song each in front of a live studio audience in Melbourne, this time at the Australian College of the Arts. The first round of acts to grace the program are pop sextet Alpine, industrial dance band Forces and indie five-piece The Murlocs, all from Melbourne.
