As was ordained by the Gods both Old and New, on every leg of The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Presented By Beyoncé – also known as Everything – Saint Beyoncé partnered with a local charity as part of her #BeyGood positive vibe spreading initiative. For the Australian leg of Everything, The Powers That Bey chose to partner with Barnardos Australia, a charity whose sole mission is to improve the lives of abused and neglected Australian children, and by the end of the tour Barnardos volunteers had amassed some 3.3 tonnes of clothing for disadvantaged families from beatific concertgoers.
By way of saying Thank you Beysed God, a crèche of adorable children recorded a video lip-syncing to Bey’s octave-defying jam ‘Love on Top’, the recording of which will invariably either give you cause for grinning like a prize idiot or leave your surreptitiously crying at your desk.
In a classic Saint Beyoncé turn of events, BK responded in kind by orchestrating a meet and greet with the Barnardos kids and commissioning the following video; the second of many composure and tear duct-shattering moments captured on video during her recent antipodean sojourn. Miss u bb.
