Elbows were slapped Sunday night when Chris Lilley’s poo-obsessed rapper S.Mouse performed live for the first time ever in St Kilda’s Prince Bandroom. The 40 minute set was bookended by “Animal Zoo” and ARIA charting single “Slap My Elbow” and also featured booty dancers, a DJ and Lilley’s surprisingly cadent flow and commitment to not breaking character. Over 900 fans attended and having watched their reactions on Youtube (see below), we’re not entirely sure about the exact levels of irony they appreciated the performance with.
