A few weeks back, Ryan Adams released a faithful, track-by-track tribute to Taylor Swift‘s 1989, and it was pretty darn good – the lack of girls’ germs was even enough to get the good people at triple j to play a Tay track, albeit one of Ryan’s covers.
GQ recently had the bright idea of getting the pair together for an interview-slash-love-in, to discuss their song writing process, the weird questions Tay asks Siri, and the sad twist that Adams put on her upbeat music.
“You know when actors say a line, they say a sentence, but they say it with different emphasis on different words and they completely change it? That’s what you did with my album,” she said at one point.
