WATCH: Radiohead Drop String-Heavy New Track ‘Burn The Witch’ & It’s Tasty

After a few days of teases, including deleting their online presence and posting weird videos of claymation birds, Radiohead have dropped a new song and video from their upcoming album. ‘Burn the Witch’ features no weird dancing from Thom Yorke, but it does feature a claymation version of ‘The Wicker Man’, so that’s nice. Watch it:

As some speculated, this is indeed a very orchestral track. Guess guitarist Johnny Greenwood, who has composed a lot of film scores of late, is bringing more of that sensibility back to the ‘Head. Nice. It does give us some ‘There Will Be Blood’ vibes with those percussive strings.
It’s a strong opener, regardless. Now here’s the question: how are they gonna pull it off live, and when are they coming back to Australia?
