The Odd Future clan have done the inevitable and made what may be the greatest DIY horror film of all time, “The Ghost Of The Hotel” because of course they did. Starring OF stalwarts Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Lionel, Jasper and Taco (as “Little White Girl”, Costume Designer, Hair and make up, lighting, director of photography, “Meat Grinder” and Taco), the curious 6 minutes of goof is punctuated by jolted lines of “I think…he’s dead..!” and a menacing white sheet creeping out the corridors of the hotel.
The best moment comes [spoiler] when Tyler admits, “I am the ghost….no I’m not. I’m really a horse.” This is the best horror film I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen like zero horror films. A synopsis has been appropriately provided with the video: “A Little Girl Dies By The Stairs In A Hotel And Detective Ray And Tony Has To Find Out Who Did It Before Its Too Late………. Tyler, Jasper, Lionel, Taco And Earl Thought Of This At 4 In The Morning Knowing It Would Be One Of The Greatest Movies Of All Time.”
