WATCH: New ABC Comedy WebSeries Pits Starving Musos Against Spotify

In this modern age of immersive journalism, with its voracious appetite to tell the stories no one else has the balls to tell, how do we push the boundaries that have already been pushed?

Where’s the new line? How do we go beyond the beyond? Where do we turn to hear the stories that truly make us go “dafuq?
The ABC‘s iView is in the middle of something of a comedy golden age at the moment, pumping out high quality local laughs at a shockingly frequent rate.
Their latest series DAFUQ? launched this week, with the series lampooning edgy youth news outlets like VICE News. The show posted a free clip to YouTube, which features an “in-depth,” and “very serious” investigation into how Spotify pays out royalties to artists, and finally answers the burning question, “Can a musician with a whopping 59 streams on Spotify survive on the royalties that generates?
Along the way, the clip picks up a few familiar faces, including Kav Temperley of Eskimo Joe, and Will Stoker of Will Stoker and the Embers (and also of HOLY SHIT IT’S WILL FROM THE BACHELORETTE AUSTRALIA).

All 6 episodes of DAFUQ?‘s first season are available, in full, right now on ABC iView. Do yrselves a favour.
