German folk champs/group with the worst band name known to man Milky Chance took time off from their Groovin’ The Moo schedule to tread the boards at Aunty HQ, visiting Ben & Liam at Triple J for this week’s instalment of the near-holy ‘Like a Version.’
Bringing out a staple of Rage playlists circa late-2000, the group put a very folky, stripped back spin on Nelly Furtado‘s ‘I’m Like A Bird,’ which – as you are all clearly aware – was the first tune off her smash-hit debut studio album ‘Whoa, Nelly!
Folks, this is a belter. There’s no two ways about it. If this doesn’t fire your Friday right-the-fuck-up, check yr dang pulse.
