We won’t begrudge you for tuning out on James Blunt, and look, neither would he.
The British singer and former tank commander (really) has spent the better part of the last decade recognising the fact that his mid-noughties tunes were, well, a touch sappy.
Part of that recognition has seen the muso transform from a perfectly harmless balladeer to an irreverent piss-taker, and with that newfound jokey mindset, he’s reached a point of acceptance.
In a new clip posted to his (must-follow) Twitter account, Blunt all but cops to his naff charm. And he wants you to feel the same way:
