Sharing an aesthetic kinship with his last outing “Trash Humpers”, Harmony Korine teams up with Ninja and Yo Landi of Die Antwoord for a sixteen minute short called “Umshini Wam”. That translates to “Bring Me My Machine Gun” according to the opening title sequence and the absurdity doesn’t relent an iota throughout the rest of the film. Watch on as the South African provocateurs play wheelchair-bound gangsters who smoke stupidly huge joints, stick up business owners and talk shit while wearing animal suits. Seriously, what else would you expect from this weirdo triumvirate?
