Praise be to the Friday gods, who in their infinite wisdom have blessed us with yet another rip snorter ‘Like a Version‘ to launch us into the weekend with a serious dose of the keen.
Glass Animals, the loose legends who recently stopped by our offices to bone app the teeth on some IRL Pork Sodas, are the latest entry into the ever-growing list of alumni at Triple J, treading the boards of the studios earlier this morning with a flashback straight out of 2006.
The nice English lads went after Gnarls Barkley‘s couldn’t-miss-it-if-you-tried banger ‘Crazy,’ eschewing CeeLo Green‘s impossibly smooth falsetto for a more measured, indie dancey number.
It’s a little weird. And it probably shouldn’t work as well as it does. But it’s smooth as heck.
Does that make us crazy? Possibly.
