Who would have thought that putting a celebs in a car and making them sing their own songs would be so successful? James Corden did, and he was right.
‘Carpool Karaoke’ has become wildly, wildly popular over the last year, and is also quite possibly singlehandedly responsible for any redemption of Justin Bieber‘s personal brand over the past 18 months.
We’ve witnessed Adele, Sia, First Lady Michelle Obama and Lady Gaga – among many others – cruising the streets of LA with the ever-charming Corden, divulging secrets and lip syncing to chewns like nobody’s watching. It is a very satisfying viewing experience.
Who’s up next on the roster? None other than the queen of pop herself, Madonna – this time driving through New York City – who will undoubtedly eviscerate the leather interior of Corden’s SUV with her unparalleled sexual magnetism. And considering the amount of bangers she has up her sleeves, the singalong options are endless.
The trailer is a sign of good things to come – Madge legit vogues to ‘Vogue‘ and has a full-on booty pop session in the front seat to what sounds like Lil Wayne‘s ‘A Milli’.
