Sydney beatmaker Flume (real name Harley Streten) teams up with silken-voiced Melbourne crooner Chet Faker (real name Nick Murphy) in this dizzying one shot clip for the former’s “Left Alone”, taken from his gorgeous debut LP, Flume, out now via Future Classic.
“I wrote this beat in a café in Barcelona one afternoon,” Streten told us of the collab last year. “It started with
the drums, then the chords, and finally the vocals. Nick [Nick Murphy
aka Chet Faker] did an amazing job with this. We ended up going with the first take he did.”
We get the feeling the clip didn’t take much longer.
