The epic new Beach House video for track “Wishes” was directed by Eric Wareheim, the more hairy half of Tim & Eric, and, in a magnificent turn of casting, stars doughy faced actor Ray Wise AKA Leland Palmer of Twin Peaks / evil henchman dude in RoboCop!
It’s a slightly sinister-feeling comedy, the premise of which is some sort of giant tournament which involves spectacular cheerleaders performing sexually explicit aerobic moves (including my personal favourite, the ‘freak’), fire twirling capoeira performers and fireworks. I have no idea what any of this means. All I know is I dig it.
