WATCH: Beyoncé Recruits The Dixie Chicks For Perf ‘Daddy Lessons’ Team-Up

Look, the odds are it’s a beautiful bloody afternoon wherever you are in Australia, and it’d be criminal not to supplement these positive vibes with some equally sunny tunes.

Thankfully, Beyoncé and the Dixie Chicks have just come through with an absolutely lush take on Bey’s Daddy Lessons for the Country Music Association Awards.
Taking to the Nashville stage for the 50th CMAs ceremony, the country titans teamed up with the Texas local to deliver a sax-ed up cover of what could just be the catchiest #choon on Lemonade.

It’s an especially important outing for The Dixie Chicks, too. You may remember that back in 2003, the band was heaaavily shunned from the mainstream country scene after saying they were ashamed President George W. Bush hailed from Texas.

Now look at ’em: on the genre’s biggest stage, in their home state, smashing it with a legitimate cross-genre juggernaut. Onya, Chicks.

P.S. If you’re absolutely about this tune – and as we’ve mentioned above, you should be – Bey herself has uploaded a studio version to her Soundcloud.

Happy Wednesday, folks.
