Watch Beyoncé and Jay-Z Play Outlaws in a New Short Film

There has been a fairly constant, low level of buzzing coming from the Beyhive in the past few days – Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s On The Run Tour wrapped up in Paris, and the entire internet temporarily flipped the fuck out when Jay dropped a lyrical hint that the lil’est member of The Illuminati Order, Blue Ivy, might soon be getting a baby brother or sister.

There is now (yet another) reason to divert all your attention to music’s current power couple, with the release today of their brand new short film, Bang Bang: Part One. It casts Bey and Jay as a pair of outlaws, beating a path through the California desert in a classic ’60s Pontiac GTO as they run from … well, ‘the law’ is the obvious guess, but it may also be Solange.

This is the first entry in a set of three short films, and that sumptuous black and white comes courtesy of filmmaker and photographer Dikayl Rimmasch. The video originally appeared on Nowness, who also interviewed Rimmasch about the concept behind the films and about bathing in the pair’s glorious light.
