When you’ve been rap royalty for 30 odd years, inspiration for a new music video is sure to run dry. That’s why for their track; Make Some Noise, the Beastie Boys have decided to take a retrospective look at their own past and even make some scary predictions about their future.
To bring this nostalgia to life, the classic rockers have enlisted the help of a licorice all sorts of celebrities like Jack Black, Orlando Bloom, Steve Buscemi, Ted Danson, Kirsten Dunst, Will Ferrell, Rashida Jones, Jason Schwartzman, Chloe Sevigny, Mary Steenburgen and yes, even Susan Sarandon to star as manifestations of the band members former and future selves. The A-listers shake shit up like never before, guzzling champagne, driving limousines uncontrollably and causing havoc on the streets like only the beastie boys can.
After viewing this video you’ll definitely want more, so stayed tuned for the short film Fight For Your Right Revised, which had audiences moving and shaking at The Sundance Film Festival.
