The Beastie Boys‘ (quickly leaked) new single “Make Some Noise” is set to officially drop simultaneously with their highly anticipated video sequel to “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party!)”, appropriately titled “Fight For Your Right Revisited”. The 30-minute short features Jack Black, John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell as the original “Fight For Your Right” incarnation of the Beastie Boys, pitted against Seth Rogan, Danny McBridge and Elijah Wood – dressed in identical Beastie Boys garb – going head to head in a dance off to determine which gang is the real Beastie Boys.
Watch the newly released two-minute trailer below which also features a crate load of amazing cameo appearances from Ted Danson, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Will Arnett, Chloe Sevigny, Jason Schwartzmann, Steve Buscemi, as well as the real real Beastie Boys making a blink-or-you’ll-miss-it homage to their own “Sabotage” music video.
Will Ferrell is an astoundingly on point casting choice for Ad-Rock.
