Here’s the music video for ‘A Wall,’ the latest offering given up to the Sun God from Bat For Lashes’ excellent third album The Haunted Man. Tenuous pop cultural touchstones may include Closer (Natasha Khan’s alter-ego Pearl wears a blonde wig) the Opening Ceremony x Spike Jonze Where the Wild Things Are capsule collection, brilliant 1980s Jim Henson film Labyrinth and We Found Love in a Hopeless Hedge Maze.
But then again, it almost certainly doesn’t reference any of those things. Enjoy.
