Adelaide MC Tkay Maidza made her presence felt last year via the storming track ‘Brontosaurus’, and in July, she returned with another dance floor-destroyer called ‘U-Huh’. The track showcases her rapid-fire flow, and left triple j listeners both confused and delighted.
The video for the song, in which Tkay lets off flares on a school playing field and generally cavorts around while refusing to give any fucks, premiered today, and it’s pretty excellent stuff – hence why she’s flying pretty prominently on our radar at the moment. That, and she’s a certified legend both onstage and off.
