Remember how the success of Glee was responsible for a huge upswing in the number of a cappella singing groups? This really excellent bunch of people from Ohio State University could do the same for marching bands.
During a recent half time show, the Ohio State Marching Band busted out a medley of TV show theme songs, with elaborately choreographed movements to match.
They turned themselves into a dragon for Game Of Thrones, a bat symbol for Batman and, erm, The Office logo for The Office. Okay, that’s a a hard one. I mean, it would have been tricky to pull off a convincing stapler in jello.
BRB, purchasing a tuba and leaning into the whole band geek thing.
