Hello, it’s… a bat?
Human sunbeam Adele was caught off guard by an unexpected audience member during the first Mexico City show of her wildly-popular Adele Live 2016 tour, which wraps in Melbourne next March after 112 shows: a wee, winged mammal.
She’d just finished belting out one of her toones when the bat swooped into the stadium and made its way through the crowd, landing on an audience member’s head.
Adele, the Good Samaritan she is, let the dude know by flapping her hands and shrieking, “There’s a bat, it landed right by your head! Oh my god, there’s a fucking bat.”
The expletitives continued: “Welcome to Mexico! It’s true, I’m happy to be here, but a fucking bat, Jesus Christ.”

It’s not part of the recording, but the Metro reports that Adele went on to explain it’s not the first time a bat’s thirsted for her attention.
“One time a bat got into my house,” she said. “It was very scary. I was on my own. It very, very, scary. I had to deal with it. I had to put all the lights off and put a torch right by a window. It’s a long story, I’ll tell you another time.”
Maybe she would have reacted differently if this lil’ guy paid her visit.
