Watch: 80,000 Screaming South Koreans & Old People React To Gangnam Style

South Korean K-Pop Internet and chart topping sensation, Park Jae-Sang aka Psy, has finished the American leg of his breakfast show appearance schedule and has returned to South Korea to rest his weary pelvis – but not before performing a free ‘thank you’ concert for over 80,000 giddy-up fans that has literally broken both the Internet, my early morning apathy and the city of Seoul.

Held in front of City Hall and live-streamed across the globe to millions of Psykicks* (like Beliebers but marginally less deluded), the thirty-four year old Psy told his adoring fans “I did not get here because I was worthy of it. I’m here because of all of you. I’m just a fat man with two kids.” And over 350 million fans.

The City of Seoul literally closed down part of the city for what Psy called this “golden opportunity to show the world how we Koreans play.” From the looks of things, they play hard and they play joyously. Don’t forget, Psy will be bringing his sexy moves to Sydney next week!

Here’s another video in the vein of insightful young children reviewing the music of Skrillex, although this one has old Americans reviewing Gangnam Style. Nowhere near as adorable in its results, but there are some stealth LOLs in there.

*Just made that up.
