Syd’s Triple One Kick Sold-Out Tour Up A Gear W/ New Dates & Local Supports

After totally selling out their east coast tour of Australia, announcing a run of extra shows, Sydney‘s Triple One are now revealing who’s coming along for the ride.

The collective has already sold out shows at Black Bear Lodge in Brissy, Northcote Social Club in Melbourne, and Marrickville Bowling Club in Sydney across June, and with the new dates in each city to really squeeze the most party out of every stop, they’ve just announced who’s going to be turning up to party.

The tour is hot off the back Triple One’s new track ‘Butter‘, which they’ve pinned as their “sad boy banger” track and well, we’ve all gotta have one, right? Peep it below, it’s a real jam.

The original shows sold out super quick, and now that the kick-ons parties are live and on sale, I’m sure they’ll be sold out in no time as well. So fkn hop to it, mates.

The parties in each state are slightly different, as well. Triple One have curated a perfect party in each city, with support acts that will absolutely fucken send it every night.

Brissy-based grime/hip-hop emcee and producer Nerve is hitting the road with Triple One, playing at all shows across the tour, and if the video from his last tour is any indication, Nerve is going to turn every venue into a smouldering pile of rubbish once he’s done with them.

Sticking to Brisbane, the two supports for the shows in glorious Brisvegas are Hoodzy, a 16-year-old emcee from the Gold Coast, who just dropped her new single ‘Young Girl Steez‘ a filthy, hot track that is reminiscent of UK grime kings like Skepta and Stormzy.

Alongside Hoodzy, Brisbane is being treated to a DJ set from Dameeeela, who has previously played alongside A$AP RockyRae Sremmurd, and Yaeji, and is playing Groovin The Moo and Splendour In The Grass this year.

Down in Melbourne, 3K will be hitting the stages at Northcote Social Club and Howler, a collective of artists challenging the notions of what hip-hop from Australia sounds like, taking notes from groups like BROCKHAMPTONOdd Future and rappers like Kendrick Lamar and Danny Brown. They just dropped their EP, OPERNFORBUSINESS last month, and it slaps HARD.

Joining them is SAL, one of the DJs behind Melb party people LOW TON, who has jumped on the ones and twos to support artists like Thelma Plum and Brooke Candy, and mixed sets for The Kicks On for Triple J.

For Triple One’s hometown show at Sydney’s Marrickville Bowling Club and now Oxford Art Factory, the group will be sharing the stage with indigenous rappers, Sydney-based Kobie Dee and Nooky, who hails from Nowra and is signed to Bad Apples. These two artists are part of the ever-expanding community of indigenous hip-hop artists who are consistently breaking new ground within the music industry in Australia.

Joining them will be local DJ Carolina Gasolina, who regularly appears on FBi Radio, and has supported artists like Tasman Keith, RL Grime and Bauuer, and has laid down huge sets at FOMO FestivalSecret Garden Festival, and Heaps Gay.
