In celebration of the annual Aus Music Month, Triple J and Unearthed are putting on a cracker of a show in Melbourne this Friday evening. It’s all-ages (bless the lords), it’s in a park, and it’s FREE. Oh and it finishes before 10pm. What a bloody perfect storm of a gig.
The (almost) full lineup for ‘Live On The Steps’ – which should probably be called ‘Live In The Park’ tbh – has dropped and it’s a bloody beauty, folks.
There’s dang good reason why they had to move it over to the Treasury Gardens, because the big gig is now featuring spesh guest appearances from Dune Rats, EˆST, Alice Ivy, Bec Sandridge, Jack River, Remi, and Ruby Fields, who will be jumping up onstage for some sick collabs.
This lot will be joining the lineup of Skeggs, Baker Boy, Tired Lion, and Mallrat. Oof what an evening that’s gunna be.
The last announcement is happening this afternoon on the Jays, where the Unearthed winner for the AA gig will be announced by Gen & Lewis.
Get around it, Melb. You lucky buggers.
