Triple J Just Dropped Its ‘Hottest 100’ Unearthed Artists & Flume Took #1

Since its establishment, Triple J Unearthed hasn’t exactly struggled to keep up with the plain ol J’s. In fact, it’s kinda proven itself as Triple J’s beating heart.
Torrents of undiscovered Aussie talent flow through it on the reg, they’ve decided to prove it on the tenth birthday of triplejunearthed.com with a Hottest 100-esque countdown of their best discoveries.
The number one entry doesn’t come as a surprise: Flume’s genre-defining career featured an early boost by way of Unearthed, and hell, we’d be stoked to call him one of our discoveries too.
Grammy-nominated Courtney Barnett has deffo earned her place at #2, and The Rubens’ Hottest 100 of 2015 win obviously powered them to third place. In fact, acts one through ten alone account for seven top-ten Hottest 100 entries, which is  in itself.
