While the Hottest 100 will always take over an entire day for music fans – shout out to everyone feeling like ratshit today after some strong 8 hour festivities that culminated in dancing on top of an esky they repeatedly fell off (no, just me?) – the Hottest 200, which aired today on Triple J and counts down tracks 200-101 that all you good eggs voted in, is still a good pile of musical delights.

Look to be fair, fans of tunes are always up in arms when their favourites don’t crack strong spots in the Hottest 100. So this isn’t really backlash as much as it is fans of the tune just voicing their love for it.
But damn, it’s tough when your fave juuuuuust misses cracking the 100 mark. Still, good onya Frankie! Premium tune, nice lil’ placement. Now release more music bc we can’t get enough, k?
