As 2010 nears a close we reflect on the year’s most memorable moments and, as always, the musical soundtrack that characterized the year through good times and bad. And so without further adieu we bring you the first in our Top Ten Of 2010 series for which we’ve asked a selection of friends, bands, bloggers and other people with admirable taste to give us their favourite songs and albums from the year.
The first contributor for the series is Dean McGrath – singer-guitarist of Brisbane’s Hungry Kids of Hungary. It has been quite a big year for the fine indie-pop quartet, having just released their excellent debut long player, Escapades, and embarking on their first headlining national tour. Dead took some time out from all the year’s madness to give Pedestrian an exclusive insight into the music of 2010 that topped his listening lists…
