The Ting Tings have canceled their Australian tour which included a performance at Splendour In The Grass. Here’s the official update:
Due to the rescheduling of the next Ting Tings album to later in 2010 the band sadly have decided to delay their Australian tour, this of course means they will not be able to play Splendour in the Grass or their Sydney and Melbourne sideshows.
Refunds to the Melbourne and Sydney sideshows will be available. All tickets purchased for the Melbourne and Sydney concerts using a credit card will be automatically refunded. Any patrons that bought tickets with cash will need to return to the point of purchase with photo ID to obtain a cash refund.
Don’t fret because (a) the Ting Tings are fun but they’re kind of disposable; and (b) there are so many other great bands playing Splendour as well as a whole heap of side shows that our live music appetites – no matter how big – should be well satisfied.
