OH SHIT: Tina Arena Just Showed Up At Splendour To Do ‘Chains’ With Matt Corby

Just when you thought Splendour In The Grass was all done with the surprises for 2019, along comes the undisputed Queen of Australia Tina Arena to remind everyone exactly what time it is.

The now-regular special guest of the festival graced the Amphitheatre crowd with her presence a handful of moments ago, taking to the stage during Matt Corby‘s set to pump out Corby’s take on her beyond-iconic smash hit Chains.

Arena last appeared at Splendour in 2017, joining Client Liaison on stage to belt through undisputed hit Sorrento Moon.

This time around Arena joined up with Corby to storm through a version of Chains he first unveiled to the world via Triple J’s Friday hit parade Like A Version.

We definitely don’t need to tell you if it was good or not. It absolutely was. And we have the footage to prove it.

Tina Bloody Arena, folks. Everyone’s Mum.

Honestly, she’s well overdue for her very own full Splendour slot to be quite very fkn honest.

Splendour in the Grass 2019 wraps up later tonight with a main stage performance from Hilltop Hoods, who were rushed to Byron yesterday as very-last-minute replacements for Chance the Rapper, who withdrew from the festival due to illness.
