Time To Be Jealous Of America, The 2015 Coachella Lineup Has Dropped

Before you read on, we suggest getting a brown paper bag handy to control your heavy breathing. In about five minutes time, a fair few of you will be feverishly banging in your netbank passwords in a desperate attempt to see if you can smang enough coin together.

Whilst our own festival season is in full swing, America’s is fast approaching on the horizon. And the Grandaddy of them all, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, just casually dropped the immense lineup for the heaving behemoth that is their 2015 edition.
Held twice over two consecutive weekends, the festival features a swathe of acts of established, up-and-coming, and legendary status playing on the now-famous, immaculately manicured polo fields of Indio, California.
Among the many (holy shit, SO MANY) acts on the bill this year are headliners AC/DC, Jack White and Drake, who’ll fill the top spot on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival respectively.
Other big highlights include Interpol, Steely Dan, Azalea Banks, (a presumably healthy) Lykke Li, Cloud Nothings, alt-J, Belle & Sebastian, Bad Religion, FKA Twigs, The War on Drugs, Drive Like Jehu (fuuuuuuuuuck), Florence & the Machine, Ryan Adams, Brand New, Jenny Lewis, and praise the based gods themselves, Lil B.
More to that, the Australian contingent is particularly strong this year. Aside from the obvious helping of Acca Dacca, Tame Impala, Angus & Julia Stone, Kimbra (we’re claiming her), Chet FakerVance Joy and Alison Wonderland all have spots particularly high up on the lineup.
In fact, you know what? Enough talking. Let’s just let the full lineup speak itself.
Commence hyperventilating in 5, 4, 3, 2…
Coachella 2015 runs over April 10th, 11th and 12th, and then again the following week on April 17th, 18th and 19th.
Better start slapping together that personal loan application now, kids.
