Say what you want about the bloke, but the guy definitely knows how to put on a show.

Kanye West‘s sprawling Saint Pablo US tour kicked off in Indianapolis today, and excited punters keen to worship at the alter of Yeezy were faced with a particularly puzzling scene upon arriving at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

There uh… there didn’t appear to be a stage present.

What the hell could possibly be going on? Was there logistical problems? Did the stage not get set up in time? Was Kanye gonna pull a floor show like he’s a crust punk in a basement somewhere?

Nope. Turns out Ye just casually decided to do the whole damned tour from a stage that was SUSPENDED IN MID FREAKING AIR.

‘Course it wasn’t without its issues. Handling security at a de-centralised gig like that one would be an absolute nightmare. But bless his heart, Yeezy knows how to keep the crowd on-side.
