It’s quite probable that you not only missed out on tickets to The xx’s upcoming Australian tour but to Jamie XX’s sold out club shows as well, and now you’re pretty sad about it. But cheer up buttercup, as Handsome Tours have just announced that the band will head back to Australia in 2013 for a larger return tour.
The band have confirmed that there will be no dates added to this year’s run of shows, but assure us that plans are already underway to ensure fans who missed out this time will have plenty of opportunity to see them play next year. Let’s just hope the world doesn’t end this year, Mayan style.
To thank those unlucky punters who missed out on securing tickets this time round, all who entered the ballot will be offered priority pre-sale tickets for next year. Stay tuned for more info on these shows as it is announced.
