Excellent news: Mercury Prize winning London trio The xx have just announced an intimate tour of Australia in support of their sophomore album ‘Coexist’.
“We are very excited to be returning to Australia soon for two small shows,” the band announced on their Facebook page. “We will play Melbourne Forum on July 18th and Sydney Metro on July 20th. To try and stop touts getting all the tickets, there is a lottery system which you can apply for starting at 10am today:”
Cross your fingers and enter the Melbourne ballot here and the Sydney one here, though we predict at least one more appearance considering the proximity to Splendour In The Grass (July 27th – July 29th).
Coexist is set for release September 7th via Remote Control.
