The Weeknd’s Big Beautiful Hurr Is Gone But At Least We Have His New Album

A moment of silence, please, for The Weeknd‘s glorious hair. We loved to look at it. We loved to write about it. We loved to wonder *what* he actually asked for at the hairdresser to yield such a style.

Gone but not forgotten.
The Canadian superstar debuted a much sleeker lewk on the album cover of his soon-to-be-released follow up to 2015 chart topper Beauty Behind The Madness  responsible for bangers like ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’ and ‘The Hills’ – which he announced on Insta.
Called ‘Starboy’, the cover art – ft. his new hurr – was actually shot by an Aussie photographer and director called Nabil, who grew up in NSW’s Port Macquarie and has gone onto work with heavy hitters like Frank Ocean and Kanye West.
It’s pretty fkn slick.
