The Temper Trap Do Fallon, Unveil Remix Album

Thinking of starting a new column called Temper Trap Ubiquity Watch because god damn these guys are dominating planet Earth so hard right now. Planet Earth is all like “Hey The Temper Trap, I know your music is emotionally resonant and all but could you please stop dominating me, it’s kinda uncomfortable.” And they’re all like “Did someone say remix album?”. So yeah, after receiving five 2010 ARIA nominations for the exact same album that received four ARIA nominations one year prior, its clear that the London via Melbourne four-piece have finally perfected time travel technology. It’s also apparent that their crusade on the Americas is going swimmingly. Case in point, their recent live performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, in which Fallon calls lead singer Dougy “buddy” and mentions the band in the same breath as Susan Sarandon, The Social Network star/future Spiderman Andrew Garfield and The Roots. Watch below…

I also mentioned something about a remix album earlier because that shit is totally happening too. Featuring big name dance producers like Fool’s Gold, Peter, Bjorn & John, Sister Bliss & Rollo from Faithless, Adam Freeland and Rusko, Conditions – Remixed, is a dance house re-imagining of the go to soundtrack for sporting grand finals everywhere, especially if they’re in Australia. As I said, dominating so hard right now. Check out the tracklist below…
