The Spice Girls Might Be Reuniting, If Your ’90s-Loving Hearts Can Handle It

Overnight, a consortium of three of the five original Spice Girls Emma ‘Baby’ Bunton, Melanie ‘Scary’ Brown, and Geri ‘Ginger’ Horner, formerly Halliwell – released a video hinting that a possible reunion might be on the cards very shortly.

The trio are celebrating two decades since their life-changing ’90s pop masterpiece ‘Wannabe‘ was released, and are planning … something big for the near future, although it’s still ambiguous as to what.

A website called Spice Girls GEM went live along with the video – ‘GEM’ presumably stands for Geri, Emma and Mel, meaning that Melanie ‘Sporty’ Chisholm and Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham are likely not involved in whatever this is.
Posh recently revealed that she wasn’t allowed to sing live with the original Spice Girls, and that her mic would be turned off when they performed, so she’s probably not feeling all that bad about missing out on this.
Whether the remaining trio are planning a one-off show of a tour of some kind, the video promises “we hope to tell you soon what we really really want.” Watch it below:
