The RATM/Public Enemy/Cyprus Hill Supergroup Of Yr Dreams Is Happening

We’ve finally got answers on what that little website tease for some kinda project involving Rage Against The Machine was. We thought maybe some new RATM shit, and the name indicated the involvement of Public Enemy in some capacity.
Well, it’s not a reunion (boo!) but it is a supergroup formation between members of RATM and Public Enemy (yeah!) Also, we’re getting some members of Cypress Hill along to the party as well. How ’bout it!
It’s three quarters of RATM (minus singer Zack de la Rocha), with Chuck D from Public Enemy and B-Real from Cyprus Hill. They’re debuting this fat slice of 90s hip hop/funk/metal at Hollywood Palladium on June 3, after which they’ve got a few shows lined up. As expected, the group is named Prophets of Rage (Yeah!)
Apparently, they’ll be playing choons from the catalogues of all three bands. Which sounds, if we’re honest, totally immense.
