The Presets Win J Award

Kim and Julian of The Presets must be pretty happy guys. They’ve won Arias, played sold out gigs across the globe and have two stellar records to their name. Could it get any better?

Over the weekend they topped off what must be the most remarkable year of their lives… How?

#1: They won a J Award for “Album of the Year,” pretty cool considering Triple J is the nation’s only youth radio network covering almost 90% of the country.

#2: They won the “Record of the Year” SMAC Award at FBi’s Inaugural award ceremony celebrating Sydney’s Music, Arts & Culture. (View SMAC Awards Winners) (View SMAC Awards Gallery)

Jealous, much?

And the J Award winners are…

Australian Album of the Year:
The Presets – Apocalypso

Australian Music Video of the Year:
Director Mike Daly
The Herd – 20/20

Unearthed Artist of the Year:
